16 New Boston Condominium Developments

David Bates / May 22, 2017-12:13 pm

Simply put, the city doesn’t have enough new, shiny, pristine condominium developments.

Where are those wow-type buildings that emit that brand new top-to-bottom feel, with those state of the art amenities and interiors and exteriors that look like they were built for the way people live and work in 2017, not 1988?

Seriously, considering the absolute lack of supply and the ever-increasing demand, I should be tripping over condominium development as I walk down the city’s main thoroughfares or divert down its back streets.

Developers by the truckload should be attempting to cash in and speedily cater to the needs of the oh-so-many qualified buyers who want to own a piece of our fair city and its glorious surrounds, Cambridge and Somerville.

We see apartment after apartment after apartment go up, yet for years our area has been a barren wasteland for sizable condominium developments, projects that possess 25 residences or more.

But finally – finally! – we see a handful of projects (16 to be exact) that landed on our real estate shores. These buildings run the gamut in terms of price, location, finishes, and amenities.

In the slides of this brief report, you’ll get the skinny on these developments, their sale prices, square foot values, and projected occupancy, as well as information on that always emotional Boston condo subject: parking. And you’ll get much more.

As a local realtor and someone with 20 years of experience in this vocation, I’m happy to talk to you in more detail about any of these developments, show you any property listed here, and represent you in your pursuit of any of these properties. Contact me at any reasonable time. My goal is to make you happy that you did.
