My Best Posts For Greater Boston Home Buyers

I wrote a column for three years about Boston real estate in which the subhead promised readers that I would “drill “down into the Hub’s housing market to uncover those trends and people you would not otherwise notice.” I think I delivered on that promise.

Many times my insights have been included in the most established publications. These include The Boston Globe, The Boston Herald, Boston Magazine, Boston.Curbed, Banker and Tradesman and a host of other local media outlets. Over that time, I sold single family homes, condominiums and investment property in a wide range of Hub neighborhoods.

Sometimes, the simplest posts I wrote received the most attention. When I was the first to report that a Beacon Hill parking space was for sale for $650,000, it became national news. And when I was the first to report that Tom Brady sold or Julian Edelman bought, the posts blew up. Then again, sometimes, it was the most challenging articles that stirred Boston’s real estate pot, like the 3,000 word article I wrote for Boston Magazine on  “the man who made a fortune renting out the student ghetto.” Four months later, the Boston Globe spotlight team ran an article on essentially the same topic. Not long after the words the landlord sat before the Boston City Council to answer tough questions about how he managed his apartments.

There are a million vehicles for today’s generation to express themselves. But that great writers from the most credible publications would find my thoughts worthy enough to repeat to their huge audiences is – of course – truly appreciated and at times an endorsement that these thoughts have merit. At the same time, as a veteran real estate agent and broker, what I get the most satisfaction out of is helping Boston real estate buyers and sellers save time, money and stress in hitting their real estate goals. So, here are some of the posts that I consider my best for buyers. They bring me joy and I hope they help you out.
