When is $376K Over-Ask Not Enough?

Last week in Curbed, I posted about a Brookline house that sold for $376,000 more than the asking price.

I was curious as to what would cause a house to go for so much more than the listing price, so I started contacting the parties involved in the sale.

What I found out is that the buyer ended up paying even more. Incredible!

Check out this week’s featured post and find out why!

Did 79 Coolidge, Brookline go for $376K over-ask or did it go for more?
